Welcome to S & J Beds
These Terms and Conditions overuse your use of the S & J Beds Limited Website and your relationship with us. By accessing our website and/or placing an order, you agree to bound by these Terms.
We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms at any time. It is your responsibility to review them before placing an order, as the latest version will apply.
1. Definitions
1.1 Buyer: Any individual or business purchasing goods from S & J Beds Limited.
1.2 Seller: S & J Beds Limited.
1.3 Contract: Any agreement between the Buyer and Seller for the sale of goods.
1.4 Products: Any items for sale on our website.
1.5 Custom/Tailored Products: Items manufactured to non-standard sizes, specifications or personalised requirements.

2. Application of Terms
2.1 These Terms apply to all orders placed with us unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.2 When you place an order, this constitutes an offer to purchase Products.
2.3 A Contract is formed only when we confirm your order or dispatch the goods.
2.4 If we are unable to accept your order, we will notify you and issue a full refund within 30 days.
2.5 We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions on our website or promotional materials without prior notice.
3. Basis of Sale
3.1 By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.
3.2 Only Products clearly listed in the order confirmation are included in the sale.
3.3 Accessories, props or decorative items shown in images are not included unless clearly stated.
3.4 Complimentary items are provided at our discretion and do not form part of the Contract.
3.5 We are not liable for typographical, pricing or technical errors.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 All prices are as stated at the time of order confirmation.
4.2 In the event of increased costs (including materials, labour or taxes), we reserve the right to adjust pricing. You will be notified and may cancel within 7 days for a full refund.
4.3 A deposit may be required to secure your order. Orders are not confirmed until the deposit is recieved.
4.4 Full payment is due upon delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.5 In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.
5. Product Descriptions
5.1 We aim to ensure product descriptions, specifications and images are accurate at the time of listing.
5.2 Minor variations may occur due to manufacturing processes, materials or display settings.
5.3 We reserve the right to make improvements or modifications to Products without affecting their overall quality or performance.
6. Warranty and Liability
6.1 All products are covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
6.2 This warranty does not cover:
. Normal wear and tear
. Misuse or accidental damage
. Negligence or improper care
. Failure to follow care or assembly instructions
6.3 Any faults must be reported as soon as reasonably possible.
6.4 We reserve the right inspect or test Products before approving the claim.
6.5 Where a valid claim is accepted, we may repair or replace the item within a reasonable timeframe.
7. Delivery
7.1 Delivery charges are displayed on our website or confirmed at checkout.
7.2 We deliver within mainland UK (excluding certain areas where applicable).
7.3 Delivery is deemed complete once the goods arrive at the address provided.
7.4 Delivery dates are estimated and not guaranteed.
7.5 If delivery cannot be completed due to no one being available, a redelivery fee (e.g. £70) may apply.
7.6 It is the Buyer's responsibility to ensure there is adequate and safe access for delivery of large items.
7.7 Assembly services must be selected at the time of purchase and may be subject to additional conditions.
7.8 Our delivery team will not remove existing furniture or dispose of packaging unless agreed in advance.
8. Acceptance of Goods
8.1 Goods must be inspected upon delivery.
8.2 Any visible damage must be noted at the time of delivery and reported within 48 hours.
8.3 Claims made after 48 hours may not be accepted.
9. Risk and Ownership
9.1 Ownership of the Products passes to the Buyer only once full payment has been recieved.
9.2 Risk transfers to the Buyer upon delivery.
10. Cancellation and Returns
10.1 We offer a 30-day return policy, excluding Custom/Tailored Products.
10.2 Custom or made-to-measure items are non-refundable unless faulty.
10.3 Returns must be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Requests after this period will not be accepted.
10.4 Returned items must be in a resalable condition.
10.5 We reserve the right to make deductions for damage or signs of use.
10.6 A collection fee may apply and will be deducted from any refund.
10.7 Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
11. Extraordinary Events (Force Majeure)
11.1 We are not liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, supply chain disruptions or transport issues.
11.2 If such events continue for more than 30 days, either party may terminate the Contract.
12. General
12.1 Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitue a waiver of our rights.
12.2 All notices must be made in writing via email or post.
13. Governing Law
13.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
13.2 Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14. Limitation of Liability
14.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
. Death or personal injury caused by negligence
. Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
14.2 We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits or business.
15. Data Protection
15.1 We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
15.2 We do not store payment card details.

Assembly Service Disclaimer
By selecting our assembly service, you acknowledge and agree that:
. You will provide clear, safe and suitable access to the installation area
. Due to the size and nature of Products, there is a inherent risk of minor damage
. We are not liable for damages unless caused by proven negligence
. We reserve the right to refuse assembly where safety concerns arise
